The mission of the  Agribusiness Council of Louisiana is to foster interest in and provide appropriate support for the agriculture that impacts or is shipped through New Orleans and other parts of the state and includes the promotion and utilization of agricultural products as well as the development of leadership in agriculture. The term "agriculture" is used in its broadest dimension to include food, fiber, fuel and forest products.
